Ahmed is a Partner heading the Corporate Structuring department in Egypt office.

Ahmed specialises in corporate, civil and dispute resolution.  He represents local and multinational corporations and institutions.

Biography

In 2014 Ahmed joined to Helmy Law Firm. Ahmed prior to the joining of Helmy Law Firm, he started his work as a lawyer for 4 years in a variety of local firm, then he moved to launch his own practice.

Recent Experience

Ahmed has considerable expertise in litigation as he is working as a legal consultant to all litigation matter to branch of US law firm based in Cairo.

Ahmed also is handling all corporate secretarial work for companies including general assemblies (ordinary and extraordinary) and board meetings.

Dealing with different governmental authorities including the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), the Egyptian Financial Services Authority (EFSA) and Real Estate Registration Offices.

Ahmed  handled a arbitration for Todd Weiler before the CRCICA in respect of SIAG Hotels with amount of 1.7 USD million.

Ahmed handled a case for Ritco Egypt before the Egyptian courts in respect of taxes with amount of 2.4 USD million.

Ahmed handled a case for Grabbing possession before the Egyptian courts in respect of Mashrabeya Village in Hurghada.

Ahmed handled a case for Cancelation the election before the Egyptian courts in respect of Hunting Club.

Ahmed handled a criminal case for Dissipation before the Egyptian courts in respect of accusation one of the chairman for a tourism company with amount of 1.9 USD million.
